Nokia 6700 classic LCD backlight LED not working solution
This solution covers for Nokia 6700 classic Backlight LED not working on the LCD Lcd display that result to a dark or black Lcd LCD display.
You may first try to install a new LCD Lcd module before applying or using this solution below.
If the LCD Lcd is already tried installing a new one but still the backlight LED still not working or unable to light up. You may then need to trace, check and or replace the components showed on the solution above.
There is a BVAT voltage line that supplies to the LED driver IC and you can check this voltage about 3.7 volts which is came from the battery positive terminal. and came way across to the two filter coils before it feeds in to the LED driver IC.
If the the voltage supply line is okay, remove the LED driver IC and trace each corresponding solder ball terminal line paths through to the pin connector and VBAT voltage line filter coils.
Rework and clean the solder ball terminal pads.
Replace the LED driver chip if the problem unsolved.

First clean the LCD connector to make sure that moisture or carbon is not causing this problem. If LCD Connector is in good shape I have marked Led Lights Ways in the diagram below make the jumpers as shown.

Nokia N79 LCD Display problem solution white screen blue screen blank screen repair solution
Heres the solution for Nokia N79 display problems such as blue Lcd, white Lcd, black or blank Lcd displays. This solution may help fix for the symptoms after ensuring that LCD Lcd module is working okay but the problem still exists.
The guide below shows the LCD display data signal line tracks from the display EMI filter IC to the corresponding LCD display B2B pin connector.
Repair hints: If the two Display EMI-ESD filter has been change but the problem remains. Do try to rework the display IC marked with number three. Just have the rework station heat controlled about below and not above 350 degrees and have an air flow of 3-5 range. Need extra care for that IC to work with.

Sony Ericsson Spiro W100i LCD Screen Display Problem Repair Solution
Repair hints on Sony Ericsson Spiro LCD Screen Display Problems.
1. Check the LCD Screen Module, have a new LCD Lcd replacement if damaged.
2. Check the LCD flex ribbon cable wire, replace if damaged.
3. Check the Flex Pin Connectors, clean if oxidized, resolder and replace if necessary.
4. Check the upper keypad PCB board. Replaced if damaged.
5. If the above procedures wont fix the problem, re-hot or rework the CPU IC.
